Gita Sikand, M.D., FAAP

Dr. Sikand is Board-Certified by The American Board of Pediatrics. She received her medical education at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. She completed her pediatric internship and pediatric residency at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NY and at Miami Children’s Hospital in Miami, Florida. She completed a Pediatric Hematology and Oncology fellowship at Washington University at St. Louis Children’s Hospital – St. Louis, MO. Dr. Sikand is a Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado Health Sciences – Pediatric Department.

Dr. Sikand enjoys teaching medical students at Denver Pediatrics. She also enjoys World Literature, Politics, and Human Psychology. She spends the remainder of her spare time with her family, traveling, and entertaining.
