Maryanne McPherson, PA-C

Maryanne McPherson joined Denver Pediatrics in 2011.

She has been working as Physicians Assistant in Pediatrics for over 40 years. After completing her undergraduate degree in microbiology, she worked as a research Technician in Cancer immunology for two years and then attended the first class of Child Health Associate/ Physician Assistant Program at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Department of Pediatrics 1969-1972. Thereafter, she worked in Family Practice/ Pediatric Practices in Fort Collins, Colorado and Thornton, Colorado. In addition to her PA work, she has also taught family practice residents from University of Colorado Medical School.

Her professional interests include Developmental Pediatrics, helping families deal with domestic violence, child abuse and various behavioral & psychosocial issues which occur in the lives of many young families. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, quilting & camping with her son & his family.

• Physician Assistant – Child Health Associate, University of Colorado – 1972
